A villa for everyone!
As part of its policy of openness and accessibility, the Villa Savoye is strengthening its commitment tothe inclusion of people with disabilities. As such, it is part of the initiative led by the Yvelines Department aimed at supporting cultural venues in the region in improving their accessibility. This initiative will take the form, in particular, of participation in a week dedicated to disability organised around 3 December, to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Beyond this event, this collaboration helps to shape a long-term approach to welcoming visitors and providing educational programmes for all audiences. Through this commitment, the Villa Savoye reaffirms its mission as a public service and its role as a local cultural organisation, dedicated to promoting access to cultural heritage for everyone.
Planning your visit
Admission to the monument is free:
- For anyone with a disability and one accompanying person, upon presentation of a valid proof of eligibility (the ‘Invalidité’ and ‘Priorité’ Mobilité Inclusion card for French nationals or an equivalent foreign document),
- For recipients of the AAH (allowance for adults with disabilities), upon presentation of an AAH certificate issued within the last 6 months. NB: the accompanying person must pay the admission fee.
A parking permit does not entitle the holder to free admission.
Group visitors
A group consists of a maximum of 20 people, including accompanying persons. Each person with a disability may have a maximum of one accompanying person. All groups must book their visit in advance.
Two options are available:
- Self-guided tour: you explore the monument at your own pace. Caregivers are permitted to speak to visitors.
- Adapted and guided tour: depending on your group’s needs and our available resources, we will work with you to plan a route that best meets your expectations. During your visit, you will be accompanied by a museum guide.
Prices:
- Self-guided tour: flat rate of €20
- Guided and tailored tour: flat rate of €40
For groups of more than 20 people, the group will be split into two.

Parking and access
Parking
Villa car park
- The car park is owned by the municipality of Poissy; spaces reserved for people with disabilities are available.
Distance between the spaces reserved for people with disabilities and the villa entrance: 150 m.
Drop-off point
A drop-off point is available in front of the Villa Savoye reception (ticket office and shop) for dropping off visitors with reduced mobility, but only upon prior request by email before the visit.
Access
- Part of the outdoor ground (from the entrance to the grounds) is covered in gravel;
- The interior of Villa Savoye is not accessible to wheelchair users due to the non-compliant dimensions of the doors and Le Corbusier’s ramp.
Please note
- Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted in all areas;
- Seating available in the garden and within the building;
- Induction loop systems at the ticket office and in the shop;
- Self-service folding chairs (reception, interpretation centre);
- Toilets not accessible
