What is an architect? Through Le Corbusier’s accounts and interviews, pupils explore the many facets of this profession: working conditions, relationships with clients, spatial layout, choice of materials… They are encouraged to reflect on how the profession has evolved from the early 20th century to the present day.

- Analysing works and archival documents to reconstruct the process of architectural creation
- Put the seminal writings of artists and architects into context alongside their actual works
- Apply geometric concepts to understand the design choices and proportions of a building
