Presentation

On this storytelling tour, pupils will meet Pierre and Eugénie Savoye and the architect Le Corbusier as they wander through their unique modernist villa. Their journey will be punctuated by storytelling and music! Keep your eyes peeled to spot the details that tell the story of this family’s life and their encounter with a visionary architect!

Concepts: 

  • Understanding the timeline by distinguishing between the past and the present 
  • Placing the villa and its inhabitants in a ‘time gone by’, that of the early 20th century
  • Identify and interpret the architectural forms and features that characterise this place
  • Expressing oneself and listening through storytelling and music, using one’s body and voice
